Overview
Medical Equipment Sales & Client Relations Representative
Seeking a new Sales and Client Relations Representative to assist us in servicing our referral sources and expanding our respiratory and enteral patient base in the Temple, Austin, and San Antonio regions. For this position, the Sales and Client Relations Representative will be the primary point of contact for local medical practices and hospitals we serve and should be a master at developing and maintaining these client relationships. In addition, the ideal candidate will obtain a thorough knowledge of our products and be required to grow our sales and patient referral base in the central Texas region.

Responsibilities:
  • Grow and manage designated territory by introducing services to medical practices (Pediatricians, Family Practices, Pulmonologists, Primary Care, Physicians, Gastroenterology clinics, etc.) and establish an ongoing service relationship with each practice.
  • Responsible for special handling completed and signed insurance forms for designated referral sources
  • Utilize Sales Software to document referral visits, patient information, and updates.
  • Attend and actively contribute to group sales meetings and ongoing training as scheduled.
  • Identify and develop new referral sources.
  • Responsible for obtaining a predetermined number of enteral and vent new order setups from new and existing referral sources each month.
  • Prepare for and participate in vendor fairs, exhibits, and in-services.
  • Should know teams, zoom, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.
  • Work closely with our intake and renewal customer service team to assist in patient care and updates.
  • Assist our clinical team with coordinating new and existing patient setups in the home and hospital setting.
Qualifications And Experience
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent education required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years in a sales and customer service experience.
  • Prefer Healthcare or DME background.
Requirements:
  • Must live within the territory.
  • A desire to achieve or exceed established goals.
  • Have practical knowledge working with software (Brighttree) or quickly learn a new software.
  • Can demonstrate an ability to close sales and maintain working relationships.
  • Must have strong people skills and an interest in helping to improve the lives of others from a healthcare perspective.
  • Must be organized.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and assessment skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential patient and company information.
  • Demonstrate good customer service skills, such as dealing courteously with the public, prospective patients, clients, and individuals within the organization.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently with little supervision.
  • Always represent the organization professionally.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check (MVR), having it show no significant violations (including DUI) in the past 5 consecutive years.
  • Must pass hospital vendor screening for access inside of medical practices.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle and drive between 4-8 hours a day.
Compensation: Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Base salary: $40,000/yr-60,000/yr.
